[ Insert title here ]

So it's been quite a while since I've posted 'cause to be honest...I've forgotten about it. Well now that I'm here...what has happened? Hmm...really not much now that I think about it. Oh! Last weekend, me and my buddies went to see the Distant Worlds Final Fantasy concert in Chicago which was sooo amazing! They played an encore of One-winged Angel and even songs/footage from FFXIV! I think that game JUST got released in Japan~ -^.^-

Uh...Oh, I started Parkour about a week and a half ago-ish, inspired to actually exercise from the game Mirror's Edge. And who says that video games are useless? Since it's winter and there's about a foot and half of snow, the team can't really practice vaults and such so we're just conditioning, practicing rolls and precisions. Maybe if we're lucky we can vault at the YMCA. I'm just super sore right now, squats and wall sits really hurt. ^o^

Hmm...Oh! We went to Daisho Con in November which was awesome and we even added a red mage to our team of White and Black~ I would write more about it but cons always end with such a blur in the mind that I really don't remember much. Haha.

And it's almost Christmas and I still need to get some shopping done~ -Making note in head-

I didn't even notice how long it's been since I wrote a post...well, there was my birthday party, which was awesome. Uh...friend's graduation party which was fun too...hmm...not much has happened really. ( -^.^- )

I've really just been on gaia online and rp-ing like crazy. Usually I have at least three or four threads going at once but lately it's only been this one vampire rp all summer. It's just such a great rp and made awesome friends~ That's what an rp should be like!

Anyway, I'm sad that my band broke up...apparently it wasn't progressing...even though my guitarist quit the week AFTER we got things rolling. -sigh-

For now, I'm just playing stuff from the GazettE, my new favorite band. I got their new DIM album too! So glad I could pre-order it! Plus~ I got the limited edition one with the DVD! Now I have to remember which DVD player in the house can play Japanese DVD's. ( >.< )

Oh yeah, got my learner's permit so I get to go psycho on the streets! Nah, I'm not that bad of a driver...even if I almost scraped one side of the car against a parked one... ( ^.^ )U

Jail~

Ok, so things started out ok, but then report card came and I was really happy because I raised my grades! But nooooo...I got grounded for doing better...because my GPA dropped...So now I'm stuck at home until December which is amazingly stupid!

Who thinks that's fair? I don't.

But one good thing is my mom being on my side. My dad has lost his freakin' mind but my mom let's me have friends over and I can go out as long as it's before six when they get home, so my dad won't find out. ( ^ x ^ )

She's also telling other people to try and convince him to come to his senses.

Aside from that, summer's been boring...more boring than I'd like...

Hopefully I won't rot at home, yeah?

Driving!

Ok, so I've been taking driver's ed which is the most boring thing ever...and each class lasts two hours every morning. BLEGH. But...

*drumroll*

I GOT MY TEMPS~ ( ^.^ ) Well, just the sheet, I still have to get the actual card... Then everyone will be terrified when they see me zooming down the streets! Yay!

So aside from that, I've realized that I love JRock and Visual Kei clothes and that it's been the style I've been looking for~ Now if only shipping wasn't a million dollars.

Manga club party

So today was the first day of finals and it really wasn't that bad...then we had the manga club end of the year party!

This year, I had a much better system for random battles, instead of the crappy little speakers I used last year. This time, I borrowed my friend's computer speakers and a very long extension cord. We plugged that into the car with a converter, unrolled the cord all the way into the park, then plugged everything in just for two speakers.

At least we could hear the music this time, and some karaoke while we were at it.

I'm so tired right now...so we're hanging out and watching Castle in the Sky for fun...while typing this. It's kinda hard to write and watch, I've realized. ( ^_^ )

So that's pretty much my day, oh yeah, I got awesome black Hello Kitty guitar picks today! Kawaii-nee~

Summer...

Yay, well, summer's almost here...but that also means friends are graduating...( T^T )

At least we still have the summer to play and fool and around be crazy. Hopefully that doesn't lead to us getting arrested. (laugh)

So lately, it's just been lots of final projects, last minute tests, concerts, and...lots of movies! Ok, three isn't a lot but for me who never really goes to the movie theaters, it's a lot. We watched Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past (fun chick flick), Night at the Museum 2 (luved it), and Star Trek (Epicness!).

Aside from that, I have manga club end of the year cosplay picnic coming up and decided to play with the band there. Sadly, I don't think they're plugs in the park so...acoustic! We will make everything acoustic! Yay!

Aside from that, people leaving is sad, finals are going to be a pain...and I still have a bunch of band kinks to work out.

Oh yeah, I'm playing for graduation in orchestra. ( -^.^- ) I get to watch all my friends graduate. Yay~ But that also means playing for about ten minutes then sitting there for two HOURS listening to people give speeches and getting diplomas, and no leaving because we have to play the recession as the graduates leave. Maybe I'll sneak in my PSP. ( >_< )

Drummer!

Yay! We got a drummer!!! -throws confetti- Ends up being my friend's boyfriend ^^ Thought we'd get someone from school but at least he went there, right?

We were going to practice at a nice guest house behind my parents' friend's house but we're still stuck in my garage...getting attacked by mosquitoes. I'm planning to put a fan while we're playing to blow the bugs away. Hopefully it'll work. Or we'll just have to break out the three electric fly swatters out and they'll fry!

Our drummer is more experienced in the band area, but even if I want to someday maybe be able to do music for a living and being known would be a nice bonus, the band is still for us to make awesome music and have fun. He's really excited, so that's awesome. ( ^.^ )

Man, are drums loud. I thought we were playing loud with just out guitar and bass amps, but with the percussion...my bass needs to go WAY up. I wonder if the guitar amps will be loud enough... ( >.> )

I'm so excited too~

And finally, pop concert is done! The last night was so much more fun than the other performances with all the disco music we were playing while waiting to go on. When you dance disco and doing the lawnmower, shopping cart, walking the dog, the monkey, the sprinkler along with other various strange dance moves in a large group, everything's more fun.

Pop concert time~

So we had pop concert last night, the biggest and most important concert for vocalists. It's annoying how you have to audition through three stages to make the top twenty, but since I'm in one of the choirs, I automatically get to perform. Yay. Had the first performance last night and have two today. Hopefully it'll go better since Saturday's the most important night. I think it's the night they film it.

I got a bit nervous last night since I'm one of the six people with microphones and our director didn't make the smartest decision by giving us the vocal parts two days before the first performance...( =.= ) I think it went ok, except the same director also didn't turn on our mics until five seconds into the song, which cut out an important vocal intro. -sigh-

A bit pissed right now because my dad's being "I'm going to yell at you about everything and have no reason for it just because I'm tired." Wow...because performing for crowds of seven hundred five times this weekend isn't tiring at all! Geez, he's being so hormonal. I kind of wanna go to my friend's house, but I don't know what they're up to...

For now I'll play my point 'n' click games...and hopefully not get yelled at by Mr. stupid mood swing.

Soccer...

not the greatest game to play in class with 20 boys and four girls...especially when the guys are all idiotic jocks and just idiots in general. I ended up being tackled by a guy three times my size and at least five times my weight. Not really fun when you land on a field covered in dead grass, which is mostly just really hard dirt.

So we've been asked to perform at my friend's graduation party, which is always a good starting gig, but we don't have a drummer...which I've mentioned countless times...

Oh yeah, I'm thinking about adding 'Untouched - The Veronicas' to the set list since I've fallen in love with that song. Plus, it'll make good use of the keyboards. ( ^.^ )

I've tried playing Mabinogi again since Maplestory is being stupid and not loving Vista. Problem is after playing Mabi for about five minutes nice and smooth, it starts lagging as if I'm trying to play it on a 95 with dial-up. My friend tried out her computer here to test if it was my connection and she played perfectly...

So apparently I have a virus or something evil in my computer.

I can't believe I've typed this much...On saturday, me and one of my guy friends were playing with those nerf swords and you'd think they're pretty safe right? Nope. He swung it hard enough that you could hear the plastic rod inside the layer of foam crack against the second joint of my right ring finger. It's all purple and swollen so I can't bend it much right now...and I realized how much I use this finger...at least I can still hold my cello bow and play guitar. ( T^T )

Set list

Wow, tonight's practice went surprisingly well...except for when our guitarist came an hour late. But no problem, he showed up and said he had to play some meet or game or something, at least our school won! Yay~ ( -^.^- )

So we ended up dragging it until 9 PM, but also because their rides didn't get here till then...anywho, I learned how epic electric bass sounds through a distortion pedal and how much we can get done in an hour and a half.

We managed to put together a 'set list', if you could call it that, in the last twenty minutes or so while we waited for their rides and it now includes, besides Rolling Star, God Knows, Secret Base - Kimi ga Kureta Mono~, Glamorous Sky (maybe), and Qing Fei De Yi. I think we should practice the last one more for now since it's one of the few awesome songs in the world that don't require a drumset.

I'm still alive~

Been ridiculously busy lately, like with little brother's birthday party and such. Ugh, having seven third grade boys running around and screaming on a precious Saturday really isn't my favorite past time. For some reason, they decided to get lost in the woods next door...

Alright, so did that and had Solo and Ensemble before that, having been a few minutes late and the moment I had come into view of the group and my teacher, they all told me they were searching for phones to call me in case something happened to me. The only reason I was late was because I got up later than I had planned and my dad didn't know where we were going.

So lately I've been stressed out about my English assignments because I had left the two stories I had to write to last minute. I ended up staying up until 12:30 AM last night finishing one of the them and writing half of the second one without having it thought out at all.

Ended up bringing my laptop to school, putting the file on a flash drive at school, then finishing it on the crappy school computers. Sadly, I had to lug around my heavy laptop just because I forgot to transfer it onto my flash drive. Arg. ( =.= ) Managed to finish it all with a minute to spare, but it had such a crap, improvised ending that I really don't like what I wrote. ( >.< )p Thumbs down for me.

Guess I can take a breather since it all got turned in on time. Plus, second band practice tomorrow. ( ^.^ )

Also, planning to cosplay Komui (D.Gray Man), Ayuzawa Misaki Maid ver. (Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!) and my usual white mage, all for the next con. Hopefully I'll get it all done.

First band practice~

So we had our first band practice for about an hour and...it actually went pretty well. Well, I was the only one who knew my part, but I was also the first one to have music and time to practice. XD

Anyway, the two guitarists didn't know their parts very well but in the end it actually began sounding like the song! Woot! I had to teach the main chords to our singer/guitarist really quickly, which made everything sound so much better with my bass and lead's high parts. Now hopefully we'll have another practice and we'll know our parts better.

And a drummer. Hopefully.

-sigh- Time for the papers I must write... ( T^T )

Slowly...

coming out of the post-con withdrawal and wearing my Lucky Star messenger bag to school made everything better. ( ^__^ )

Anyway, we have our first almost complete band practice tomorrow, sadly, still no drummer. The good news is my friend's friend is selling they're drum set so MAYBE we'll get something to play with for now. I should practice bass...but I have homework...

Stupid chemistry.

Classes are so...

oh you know, they're boring. Plus with the fact that I haven't slept much during that last four days doesn't help with a boring chemistry lecture coupled with soft chairs. So at the end of class, my friends informed me that I was nodding off during the entire thing even though I didn't even realize it. I guess you never really notice it until your head hits the desk or the teacher comes over and talks in your ear in a freaky voice.

Anyway, so I've decided to finish Shuuhei Hisagi and Halibel, along with fixing my white mage hammer so I can actually swing it around. I should upload some pictures later...after I steal them from Hinata.

Times of evil

So it's that time of year again...the day after the con. The time when post-con withdrawal hits hard enough to make you feel completely meh. And hungry.

Mmm...curry ramen...

So no school today, which is a bonus for us sleep deprived cosplayers, but it also means I'm all alone at home. Usually this would be seen as a bonus, but it's really boring and I suddenly want to sew and/or possibly go to mall and just hand out with some people.

Sadly, everyone was also at the con and half-dead right now or down with a nasty cold that I hopefully didn't catch, so unless I want to go bike to the mall, which is across town, I'm stuck here. I could bike to barnes and noble, but what could I possibly do there?

There's always the option of playing bass, but I don't want to lug my five ton bass amp back out and I'm too lazy to change out of my yukata. I wonder how hard it would be to play bass in it.

For now I'm stuck watching Disney Channel until some people decide they're too bored and get together somewhere. I should go obtain custody of my sewing machine and find my missing iPod though.

Post-con withdrawal...

Yo, got back from the con about an hour ago and I'm tired...Only had ten hours of sleep the entire weekend and my foot really hurts from all the walking. Plus, it really didn't help that my white mage hammer was huge and heavy. ( >.< )

I wonder why we never take more of me and the group doing stuff instead of just cosplayers around the con.

The random battles were amazing this year, even if they weren't hosted by the usual Cloud, but by a different, taller one, and a cool pirate queen. Me and the black mage were unofficial moderators. ( ^.^ )d

I should put up photos after I steal them from Hinata.

Oh yeah, on a side note, the guy who chatted with me and gave me that raffle ticket was cute. (-^.^-)

JAN KEN PON!

It's just early...

...and I'm tired. Yeah, yeah, go to bed earlier, blah blah blah, but I still have to finish cosplays and start on accesories and I'm pretty sure my brain is going to explode from all of it. ( x_x )

So five or six hours of sleep wasn't really enough and it's pouring rain, along with thunder and lightning, lovely weather for a con!

This year, we're stuffing five girls into one room with only one bed, hopefully if someone gets up in the middle of the night for the bathroom, they won't trample all over us on the cold, wet (just kidding), floor.

And I've just learned that even though electrical tape isn't as strong as duct tape, it still hurts when you pull it off your face, but for some reason, doesn't hurt small children. Do they have super skin? ( O.O )

Meh, part 2~

Well, it's 12:30 AM so I'll get half an hour more sleep than last night, but my cosplay isn't done yet...( =.= )

Plus, my back hurts because I'm sewing on the floor and leaning in an annoying position. Ow...

Maybe I can get it done tomorrow morning and then at the con if I have to.

Yay...it's the annual Pre-Con Panic time...

Finally lugged all my stuff to my friend's house so we can leave tomorrow morning from here...but my cosplay is only 1/3-1/2 done...so no sleep for me tonight...

Some of my sewing is off, but I don't really care...it all looks black anyway!

So...as you can see by the post time, it's almost 1 AM ~yawn~ ( =o= )" Been sewing for about six hours and most of it had lots of frustration and being stabbed by pins. Almost done...you'd think a kimono top with only five seams wouldn't take this long... ( O.O )

Hopefully I'll be able to get up for school in five hours. ( T^T )

Maybe I can get the collar sewn on in the next few minutes...

I got home today and was going to sew...but then didn't start until 6-ish...been working til now and wants a break~ I'm almost done with the black part of the kimono. d( ^.^ )b Good thing Shuuhei doesn't have outside sleeves.

Good news is we have our first band practice planned for next Saturday~ -sigh- but no drummer...still. At least we have the other parts. Hopefully I can sing back-up while playing bass. Singing with bass is a lot harder than guitar...I think it's the plucking part instead of strumming with a pick. Hm.

Maybe I should play in cosplay! ( ^o^ )

Con is in one and a half days! Arg~ I still need to reinforce my white mage hammer and finish my cosplay and...-faints- Ok, ok, back to sewing and ironing. Peace. ( ^.+ )v

Uh...

Well...I got the pattern that has been used a lot and for some reason couldn't see the back piece so decided to go to Joann's and bought a 99 cent pattern...then I found the back piece when I got home. I don't think this cosplay wants me to sew it.

Alright, so now I have everything, all ironed, all nice...but I really don't understand the instructions~

Pain...

Ow...my thighs hurt!!! We're learning a dance for choir and I haven't stretched my legs for awhile so it doesn't help to suddenly crouch down and push my legs past their limit in a split-second. ( x_x ) Why, oh why did we have to have so many stairs in school?!

I really do need to get sewing...finally got custody of my fabric from my friend so I could start now...but I'm too lazy~ Plus, Pre-con panic is starting to set in.

Rawr, I'm getting so pissed off with my parents! Apparently it's the rudest thing on Earth for your younger sibling to stay at your friend's house and for them to take him home...it's just a frikin' block! Geez!

Gross Day~

Ew, so it's monday...and it's snowing in spring! Well, it stopped, but then it changed to rain, and then back, and then the cycle repeats. Lovely. I should totally try and make another omuraisu tonight, through I'm not sure how well that'll work out for me ( >.< ) I have remember not to drown it in ketchup this time. ( + o + )

I really need to start on that cosplay but there's the internet, instruments, tv...and the fact that I'm on here writing means I'm not sewing~ I wonder if it's even possible to sew a kimono top and accessories in four days...( T^T )

On a random side note: I kinda want to watch the Hannah Montana movie -dodges bullets- I mean, people don't like Hannah Montana, but the show is actually pretty decent if you watch it and ignore the songs she's been singing for three years...

Alright, so I should go finish some homework...( = . = ) and then maybe I'll do my cosplay...

Back from the recital...all the songs were long~ and there was this one little boy who kept forgetting his notes and repeated the same line over and over...I felt kinda bad for him ( >.< ) I still need to finish papers and just had dinner where I attempted to make Omuraisu, not the best thing to look at but it tasted good ( ^.^ )b Maybe a little more ketchup and less rice next time...and not break the egg...

So I improved the blog, looks better now and is better than the harbor theme I had before, the only decent looking theme on this site... Too bad I couldn't find a bass guitar theme. -sigh- I need to get to work and get papers done~

For the band situation, starting off with Rolling Star, and I think we can survive without a drummer...for now...if we blast the original song loud enough to hear the beat XD and then maybe go onto Tsubomi by MARIA.

I love that band to bits! Can't believe I've listened to that song almost 300 times just on my iTunes...who knows how many times I listen to it on my iPod...unless that transfers over to the iTunes...ANYWAY, to homework I go~

First post~

Well, not the most exciting first post, eh? It's Sunday, so people have Church, which makes me kinda bored...being forced to go to little brother's piano recital in 'bout an hour, not really all that fun. Maybe I can sneak my iPod ( > o < )

I'm a little stressed because I have to start on my cosplay for the con next Friday...and my fabric has been lost somewhere...

Plus, I can't really find a drummer in school for some reason. You'd think more people would play drums compared to bass, but 50% of the school plays guitar, maybe 2% plays bass, 1% plays drums...like 70% sing...ugh. Hopefully a drummer will show up soon. What's weird is the fact that I had a drummer, but he didn't have a set so now he's my guitarist...weird.
