NoBrand Con 2012! Pt. 2

Saturday...Saturday was the big day of the con. Well, of course it was, since its the only full 24 hour day of the con. The problem with me going to these things is the fact that its hard to remember everything that happened with the lack of sleep, general chaos, and distractions! I tried playing Taiko again but I think they changed the game so all the songs were new and a lot harder. Oh well, I did okay anyway. Speaking of games, we found a game called "Sneak King" where you play as the super creepy Burger King and walk around giving food to people and hiding to surprise them. Creepiest game ever...

The con felt like a con on Saturday: me and Cindy (and Dan this time) walked around between the vendor's room, the anime rooms, and the video game room. It was a little slower and harder this time around because I wore Danbo but I also got a lot of pictures! ( ^.^ ) A lot of people were confused by my cosplay, though, thinking its just a cardboard robot and not a character from a manga. A girl was squealing about how cute Danbo was and her friend said, "Calm down, its just cardboard, its not that funny." But the first girl told her "No one asked for your opinion!" It made me smile. (laugh)

As usual, we stayed up all night and watched anime, but I don't remember really watching because I fell asleep. I can't believe I got away with it because there was this one guy who was snoring really loud in the evening and from what I heard, it took seven people to wake him up. He got told to wake up twice after that and they threatened them to kick him out if he kept sleeping. So fast forward to 5 AM and I arranged my chairs so it made a bed and I laid down on it to sleep. I don't know if they didn't care or just didn't see me because I was wearing black or something, but I didn't get yelled at~ (fist pump)

But before that, we went to Tabletop Games because people mentioned my friend Derek was playing Mahjong in there and since I've been wanting to play with people and not just computers for a long time, I decided to join in. I finally learned Japanese style Mahjong and we ended up playing a single game from midnight all the way to 4 AM. It was surprisingly fun, and we met the guy Andrew who ran it. We even played for the second half of Sunday of the con.

Hmm...Maybe I'll remember more things later, but I'm so tired right now...(sigh)

Oh! Naturally, me and Cindy played the shopping game where if I want to buy something, she'll say she'll buy something if I do, and vice versa. We ended up both getting a figure of Ichigo in his final Getsuga Tenshou form. I haven't read this far, and probably never will, but it just looked so cool and the vendor remembered us and even gave us a $1 discount. It was mostly as a joke, but she said she would probably remember it as a running gag and even on Sunday, she gave us $1 discounts for every item we bought. (laugh)

I also asked how she started to run a vendors business like this and after talking about how I wanted to go to cons and be a vendor, she asked for my number and said she would contact me if they were ever short on people. ( ^^ )

Here's a picture of my new figure and Lucky Star wristband (I'll add pictures of my other purchases later):
